Summer Internship 2019

Students of the Hotel Management and Culinary Arts programs had the opportunity to work in one of the 35 partnering four- and five-star hotels for another summer season. In this way they had the chance to apply the knowledge they had received during the academic year.

It is worth noting that the course supervisor, Dr Constantinos Iacovou, regularly inspected the students during their internships to ensure that both the working conditions and the job roles are in line with the levels set by American College. In fact, all employers must sign a contract regarding the labour rights of American College students. “It is impressive to observe how students transform from year to year. Especially the second year students in addition to their professional abilities, also practice their English. The demand for AC students is high enough, with more and more hotels and restaurants coming in every year. ”
