American College once again emphasizes on the training of its lecturers with a series of seminars. The beginning was made by the Head of Academic Affairs, Dr. Andreas Petasis. On October 2, the new lecturers gathered to learn about the AC's culture, their responsibilities and the requirements of the new academic year. "Many of our professors have rich academic experience in other universities and colleges of Cyprus and England. The aim of this seminar is to facilitate their adaptation to our standards", were the instructor's comments.
The follow-up is given on October 24 and 31, where all staff will be trained on personal hygiene principles and first aid skills by authorized instructors. The Director of Administration, Mr. Lakis Agathokleous stressed that the American College does not make discounts on anyone's health. "We are responsible for both the students and our staff, so we place special emphasis on training, so that we can go through the whole crisis as smoothly as possible. "Behind every mask, there is a family."
Lectures on online education courses are scheduled to take place in the coming weeks, so that any possible transfer from traditional teaching to online lectures to completed flawlessly.
