Equipped with the latest in hardware and software, the College Computer Center, among a few of its kind in Cyprus, aims to support the needs of the teaching, research and administrative functions of the College. The Center’s goal is to deliver dependable, high quality integrated technology facilities and services in support of our students, faculty and administration staff. The achievement of this mission results in integrated technology services that enhance both the quality and reliability of the students' educational experience. Recognizing the significance of keeping up with the technological advances in this field, the Center vows to continue to lead the way by investing heavily in computing facilities, arming its students with a solid academic and scientific background.

Every computer is connected to the Internet through the College’s reliable, high–speed connection. Network infrastructure is supported by Cisco routers and D-Link switches and powered by latest Windows and Unix server platforms which also allow for remote users VPN access to campus network. Special purpose servers run antivirus and content filtering features in order to protect campus network from malicious intent users and software. All critical systems are fully redundant so students, faculty and staff members are provided with a safe and a stable computing environment.

The Computer Center maintains several computer laboratories and a computer Help Desk which is available to assist students, faculty and administration staff. Every computer found in our computer laboratories provides access to an extensive portfolio of widely used commercial application software, as well as programming languages. All computer laboratories are equipped with a heavy-duty laser printer and some of the computer laboratories are equipped for video projection. Most computer laboratories are free from classes and they are available exclusively to the students carrying out their assignments, practicing, researching or for exploring the Internet. Those computer laboratories used for teaching are also available to the students when they are free from classes.

Being able to communicate all over the world is vital, given the ever changing world in which we live. The college positively encourages communication by computer and students find that electronic mail is an efficient way of communicating with other students and staff. The Computer Center provides uninterrupted access to the abundance of information available via the Internet. The College has its own web pages which can be found at www.ac.ac.cy

Many of the College’s procedures such as the admission process, registration of students in courses, issue of student grade reports and issue of transcripts are fully computerized. The Center provides to all administration and faculty staff communication through electronic mail and access to the internet.
